Call For Papers

Abstracts

ISUF 2026 will be held in Santiago, Chile, and is expected to receive numerous applications for the various tracks that are proposed for this edition.

To submit an abstract, it must be in English and applicants have to use the designated template, which must contain the title of the project, abstract (300–500 words), 3–5 keywords, and indicate which one of the seven tracks the conference is proposing the project is more suitable.

The deadline for submitting the abstract is February 17, 2026. Further instructions are included in the template document.

The abstract should be submitted through the Ex Ordo platform (link below). Please fill in both the submission and the abstract template. Applicants may submit more than one abstract for review.

The abstracts are peer-reviewed by the conference scientific committee and reviewers. For facilitating the blind review process, individuals and institutions should not be identified in the body of the abstract.

By submitting the abstract, the authors hereby affirm that the work is theirs, original, and recent, and consent to be, upon acceptance and registration, asked for a full paper (dates to be confirmed) for another peer review process and invited for an oral presentation in one of the conference sessions of the seminar. At least one author of the selected abstracts must pay the full conference registration fees to be eligible for the rest of the process. All authors willing to participate in the conference must pay registration fees.

The selected abstracts will be published in a book of abstracts. In which case, the selected author will be asked to provide one image 1600x1600 pixels in png format, and a short bio to be published in the mentioned book.

Failure to comply with the conference deadlines or requests for materials may result in the author being dropped from the program.
